Kantha is a type of folk art where designs and patterns are embroidered into a quilt with a running stitch often using a contrasting color. This is called a kantha stitch.

Kantha is a Bengali folk tradition embroidering textiles using recycled fabric. 

Front and back are photographed. Due to the nature of the quilt there are charming imperfections.
